The artwork is based on "Starry Night", the iconic 1889 masterpiece by Vincent Van Gogh. The artist created his interpretation of the glittering night sky over Saint-Remy-de-Provence, capturing the glowing crescent moon over the sleeping town below. Van Gogh loved to paint at night, writing to his brother Theo, "It often seems to me that the night is much more alive and richly colored than the day."
